Joann V Hubbard

Joann V Hubbard, age 84 of Durand, died Thursday, October 9, 2025 at Dimensions Living in Eau Claire with her family by her side.

Joann was born on January 27, 1941. She was the daughter of Glenn and Beulah (Shaffner) Manore and grew up on a farm near Plum City. Joann attended Arkansaw High School.  Joann married Russell Hubbard on August 30, 1958 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Arkansaw. After marriage, they lived in the Durand area all their lives where they raised their family. Joann worked at the Durand Canning Factory, Cenex and Black’s Valley Ag. In retirement, Joann volunteered at St. Vincent de Paul in Durand.

Joann enjoyed spending time outside with her flower gardens and bird watching. She also liked quilting. Most of all, Joann loved to spend time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Joann is survived by her children, Brian of Durand, Trish Hubbard of Eau Galle, Lori (Glen) Zierl of Arkansaw, Robert of Arkansaw, Kathy (Fiancé, Paul) Hubbard of Wheeler, Russell Jr. (Amy) of Elk Mound, Alan (Lori) of Somerset and Eric (Shannon) of Galesville, eight grandchildren; Nellie Jo Hubbard, Derek Hubbard, Andrew Zierl, Alexander Zierl, Amber Baier, Nathaniel Webb, Nicole Krause and Skyler Hubbard, 13 great grandchildren, other relatives and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, Russell, one grandson, Matthew Hubbard and a brother, Calvin Manore.

Funeral Mass will be 11:30AM Friday, October 17, 2025 at Holy Rosary Catholic Church-Lima in Durand with Rev. Emmanuel Asamoah-Bekoe officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Visitation will be from 10:30AM until the time of services at the church on Friday.

Rhiel Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Durand, is serving the family.

When I was Clara Snider..Last time I saw them was at my 70th birthday party in the Durand area.. Hugs and condolences to the family..
