Patricia A "Pat" Rosenberg

Patricia A. “Pat” Rosenberg, age 76 of Eau Galle, passed away Friday, October 10, 2025 at Dove Health West in Eau Claire with her family by her side.

Pat was born on  December 15, 1948 in Durand. She was the daughter of Cyril and Beatrice (Bauer) Brunner. Pat grew up on the family farm in Lima, attend Sacred Heart Catholic School in Lima and graduated from Mondovi High School in 1967. While in high school, Pat excelled in band, forensics, was a cheerleader and salutatorian of her class. Pat married Michael “Rosie” Rosenberg on June 6, 1970. Together they had two children, Michelle and Shawn, and they later divorced. During Pat’s working career, she worked at WRDN and a waitress at Club 10. Later, Pat went back to school and became a paralegal for Bob Hagness, Midwest Title and was a abstractor for Weiss Realty.

All of her life, Pat loved music and was a talented musician. She played oboe, piano and organ. Over the years, Pat was an organist for Holy Rosary Catholic Church-Lima, St. Mary’s in Durand and St. Henry’s in Eau Galle. She also enjoyed supporting local musicians. Later in life, Pat loved going to her grandchildren’s concerts.

Pat loved watching sports, especially the Green Bay Packers and the Chicago Cubs. She was so happy when the Cubs won the World Series in 2016. Pat also had a love for her dogs, Mayzee and Hope.

Pat is survived by her children, Michelle (Dale) Pittman of Rice Lake and Shawn of Eau Galle, 5 grandchildren, Jake (Lindsay), Brett, Bryce (Megan), Rylee, Kyan, two great grandchildren, Mackensy and Mason, one sister, Donna (Mike) Hurlburt of Durand, brother-in-law, Bill Hopkins, lifelong best friend, Colleen (Tom) (Forster) Garnevicus of Nelson, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents, two siblings, Mary Hopkins and Terry “Seed” Brunner and ex-husband, Mike “Rosie” Rosenberg.

Memorial Mass will be 11:00AM Friday, October 17, 2025 at St. Henry’s Catholic Church in Eau Galle with Rev. Jerry Hoeser officiating. Burial will be in the Holy Rosary Catholic Cemetery-Lima in rural Durand at a later date. Visitation will be from 10:00AM until the time of services at the church on Friday.
