Hugh P. Williamson IV, 48, was born May 9, 1977, in Moscow, Idaho.
On September 5, 2025, he was found deceased at his home in Orlando, Florida.
In 1979, the family moved to Menomonie, Wisconsin where Hugh spent his youth. He participated in many city & school district sports programs and other activities.
At Menomonie High School he lettered in Cross Country, Basketball & his favorite sport of Tennis. He was also very focused on his education & proud of his accomplishment at graduating in the top 10% of the Class of 1996. He continued his education at the University of Minnesota where he was accepted into the Carlson School of Management.
It was there that he pledged to the same fraternity as his father, Beta Theta Pi.
In 2003, he graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Business Management & a Minor in Psychology. He later received several Professional Licenses with the Florida Division of Real Estate; Florida Dept. of Business & Professional Regulation & Dept. of Financial Services and was recently licensed to be a Notary Public.
At the time of his death, he was a Professional Sales & Customer Service Specialist/Manager. His office was also his home. Hugh took pride in his work striving to always be the best. He would consistently be rated #1 or #2 in Customer Service & Sales Production. In 2023, as a Sr. Financial Consultant, he was in the top 19% in active sales in the company and 13% in lead conversion.
Hugh worked very hard for his employers and clients/customers, always wanting to help with any issues; but especially proving that he was among the best.
Hugh enjoyed listening and recording his favorite music, TV shows and movies. He had a huge collection! He also appreciated the art of Claude Monet, a French Impressionist. He loved the game of chess and was also a gamer and with a passion for anything related to Star Wars. His favorite character was Darth Vader. They could both be described as very intelligent, self-driven, persistent, reserved and mysterious.
He especially loved his family in Wisconsin, Minnesota & North Carolina. He never missed a special occasion with a card, phone call and/or gift and will always be remembered for hating vegetables but loving cheesecake, beef jerky, Dinty Moore Beef Stew & Spaghettios!
Hugh is survived by his Mother, Sheila Stori (Menomonie, WI), Step Mother, Sarah Williamson (Murphy, NC), Brother, Jacob Williamson (Madison, WI), Half Sisters, Mikaela (Nathan) Weber (Rosemount, MN) Shea (Patrick) Stori-Ross (River Falls, WI), Nephews: Emerson Weber & Colin Ross & Nieces: Stella Weber & Evie Ross & many Aunts, Uncles, and Cousins.
He was preceded in death by his Father, Hugh P. Williamson, Jr. who passed away in 2022; Stepfather, Michael C. Stori who died 2023, Paternal Grandparents Hugh P. Williamson, Sr. & Dr. Elsa L. Wade Williamson & Maternal Grandparents Rueben J. Gehring & Virginia B. Miser Gehring.
There will be a special Memorial Service for Hugh at 1 p.m. on Saturday, November 22, 2025, at First Congregational UCC Church at 420 Wilson Ave., Menomonie, Wisc. officiated by Rev. Rene’ Mehlberg, followed by refreshments served by the UCC Women’s Fellowship in the Fellowship Hall.
