Jerry D. Link age 50 of Menomonie,
Died: Monday August 3, 2009 at Luther Hospital in Eau Claire.
Jerry was born November 14, 1958 in Menomonie, the son of Sherman and Myrtle (Hintzman) Link. He grew up in the Township of Lucas, Dunn County. Jerry farmed with his father as a young adult for several years. He married Lisa Scott May 6, 1988 in Menomonie. Jerry worked for American Structures for a few years and lately had been working at Indianhead Enterprises in Menomonie.
Jerry was an avid Packer fan, NASCAR fan, enjoyed hunting, fishing and spending time in the outdoors.
Jerry is survived by his wife, Lisa; four sons, Duane Vleck of Medford; Dustin (Amber) Link of Menomonie; Shawn Link of Colfax; Justin Link at home; a very special grandson, Jaden Duane Link; three sisters, Sandra Traun of Bloomington, MN; Cheryl (Dan) Wyss of Boyceville; Patty (Don) Larson of Knapp; nine brothers, Ron (Shirley), Jim (Audrey) Dan (Ann) all of Menomonie; Roger, Dean, David (Darlene), Tom (Marilyn), all of Knapp; Robert (Debra) of Spring Valley; Gary (Jan) of Alco, NV; many nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
He is preceded in death by his parents, father and mother-in-law, George and Kathy Scott; nieces and nephews, Julie Wyss; Chuck Traun; Skyler Link; sister-in-law, Melissa Link; brother-in-law, Cy Traun.
