Irma E Brantner
Irma E. Brantner, age 91 of Eau Claire, formerly of Durand.

Irma was the daughter of John and Leopoldina (Pomasl) Weissinger. She was born and raised in the Town of Albany, Pepin County. She attended Lima School. On June 3, 1941 Irma married William “Bill” Brantner at the Holy Rosary Catholic Church at Lima. After marriage they lived and farmed in the Lima area until retirement.
Irma enjoyed gardening, dancing, crocheting and fishing. She was a lifelong member of the Holy Rosary Church and was active in parish affairs. Irma will be sadly missed by family and friends.
Irma is survived by her husband of 68 years, Bill, two sons, LaVerne (Kathy) of Racine, Ronald (Jane) of Eau Claire, one daughter, Betty Lauer of Durand, 10 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, one sister, Emma (Bernard) Weiss of Mondovi, many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, four brothers, Edwin, Roman, Clarence, and Herman Weissinger, three sisters, Ellenora Hayden, Annabel Beyer and Rosebel Weissinger and one son-in-law, Arland Lauer.
