Edna D Ottman

Edna D. Ottman, age 86 of Plum City, died Tuesday, March 9, 2010 at the Chippewa Valley Hospital in Durand.

Edna was born on August 11, 1923 in rural Alma, Buffalo County. She was the daughter of Roy and Viola (Buccholtz) Iberg. Edna grew up for a short while in the Alma area before moving with her family to Plum City and graduated from the Plum City High School. After high school, Edna married Kenneth “Red” Ottman and made their home in the Plum City area there entire life. Edna drove school bus and cooked for the school in Plum City her entire working career. Red died in 1982.

Edna enjoyed cooking for anyone, sewing, playing cards, crocheting and making quilts. Most of all, she loved to spend time with family and friends.

Edna is survived by her one son, James (Kathy) of Rock Springs, WY, two daughters, Kae (Mike) Harmon and Sandy (Dan) LeBrec, both of Plum City, seven grandchildren, Jamie, Jess, Lisa, Lori, Teresa, Bridget and Spencer, 11 great grandchildren, one great great grandson, Dawson, one brother, Will (Carlene) Iberg of Piggott, AR, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents and her husband Kenneth “Red.”
