Willard A. Fedie, age 82 of Durand, died Monday, March 22, 2010 at the Oakview Care Center in Durand.
Willard was born on September 22, 1927 at home in the Town of Peru, rural Eau Galle. He was the son of Fred and Hannah (Poeschel) Fedie. Willard farmed his whole life in the Durand Area. He was a member of Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Lima. He has been a resident of the Oakview Care Center since 2005.
Willard is survived by his one sister Lorena (Alfred) Bauer of Durand, many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, Fred Jr. and Clarence, one sister Helen Poeschel, three sisters-in-law Tillie Fedie, Eunice Fedie and Marion Fedie and one brother-in-law, Leopold Poeschel.
