Ruby M. Webb, age 76 of Eau Galle, has left us to be with her Lord and Savior on Monday, March 29, 2010 at the Oakview Care Center in Durand after a courageous 17 month battle with cancer.
Ruby was born on August 14, 1933 in Pierce County. She was the daughter of Donald and Delia (Knapp) Ritzman. She grew up in the Elmwood area and was graduated from the Elmwood High School on May 15, 1951. Ruby married the love of her life, Francis Webb on May 3, 1952 at St. Henry’s Catholic Church in Eau Galle. They lived in Minnesota for a short while and then moved to Eau Galle in 1959 where she lived until February 2010. In February of 2010, she spent her final days at the Oakview Care Center in Durand.
Ruby belonged to St. Henry’s Catholic Church, where she was a longtime member of the Alter Society. Her religion was a large part of her life. She also enjoyed spending time with family and friends.
Ruby will be sadly missed by her husband of 57 years, Francis, two daughters, Debbie Graham and Cheri (Stan) Bemis, both of Elmwood, one son Mike (Dee) Webb of Spring Valley, one sister, Etta (Dewey) Falls of Nelson, one brother Robert “Buck” (Marcia) Ritzman of Bay City, a special aunt, Eunice Clifford of Ellsworth, four grandsons, Josh (Kerri), Shane (Arika), Travis (Fiancé Kara) and David Webb, one great granddaughter, Sierra and one great step granddaughter, Kaylina, four sisters-in-law, one brother-in-law, many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents, an infant son, Joseph, an infant daughter, Pam and several in-laws.
