Margaret M Wolf
Margaret M. Wolf, age 95 of Amery, formerly of Eau Galle, died Sunday, April 25, 2010 at the Golden Age Manor Nursing Home in Amery.
Margaret was born on July 17, 1914 in Pepin County. She was the daughter of Alfred and Nancy (Place) Morse and grew up in the Durand and Arkansaw areas. Margaret married Benedict Wolf on January 7, 1936 in Elmwood. After marriage they farmed in rural Eau Galle for many years. In 1987 they celebrated their farm being a “Century Farm.” After the death of her husband, Margaret stayed on the farm for several years before moving to Fall Creek to be closer to her daughter. Margaret was a resident of the Fall Creek Valley Care Center from 2004 to 2010 and just recently had relocated to Golden Age Manor in Amery to be closer to family.
Margaret is survived by her one son James (Janet) of Eau Claire, three grandchildren, Ann (David) Schilling of Clear Lake, Cynthia (David) Evans of Saginaw, MN and John (Tiffany) Albrecht of McLean, VA, two great grandchildren and Grace and Rose Albrecht. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, Benedict, a son Bernard “Bing,” one daughter, Nancy Albrecht, a son-in-law, J.D. Albrecht, three brothers, Valdy, Levi and Allan Morse and one sister, Ima Thompson.
