Reid K.Timm
Reid Karl Timm, age 50, of Meridean, died Thursday, April 29, 2010 at his home in Meridean with his family by his side after a courageous battle with cancer.
Reid was born on April 4, 1960 in Mondovi. He was the son of Arnold and Evelyn (Bloom) Timm. Reid grew up in the Mondovi area and graduated from Mondovi High School in 1978. After high school, Reid went to Chippewa Valley Technical College and graduated with degrees in Pneumatic and Hydrologic Engineering. Reid drove semi for Wilson Lines for a few years. He married Maralee Schlosser on November 25, 1987 in Alma. After marriage, Reid worked at Gold’n Plump for several years before moving to Eau Claire, where he worked for Menards. In 1995 Reid moved his family to Meridean and work for Luther Hospital for four years. His most recent job before he got diagnosed with cancer was at CEVA Logistics in Menomonie.
Reid was a talented artist, he liked to go bass fishing, hunt and go golfing. Most of all he enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.
Reid is survived by his wife of 22 years, Maralee, one son, Nathan, one daughter, Kasandra, both at home, three brothers, Neil (Shirley) of Eau Claire, Arnold (Lynn) of Norcross, MN and Kenneth of Arcadia, four sisters, Gail Iverson, of Forest Lake, MN, Sandra (Richard) Johnson of Bloomington, MN, Janet Timm of Apple Valley, MN and Renee Timm of Denver, CO, mother-in-law, Rosella Schlosser of Durand, four brothers-in-law, Edward (Pat) Schlosser, Raymond (Ruby Benson) Schlosser and Steven (Joann) Schlosser, all of Durand, Michael (Deb) Bloss of Elk Mound, three sisters-in-law, Judy (Charles) Ecker of Eau Claire, Evonne (John) Steger of Sun Prairie and Terese (Mark) Nickeas of Wisconsin Dells, many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents, one son, Maxwell, one sister, Karen Timm, father-in-law, Edward Schlosser Sr. and sister-in-law, Patricia Bloss.
Memorial Prayer Service will be 8:00 PM Monday, May 3, 2010 at the Rhiel Funeral Home in Durand. Dan Richardson will officiate. Friends may call from 5:00 PM until the time of services at the Rhiel Funeral Home in Durand.
