Carolyn E. “Tootie” Schneider age 77

Died: May 4, 2010 at Oakview Care Center in Durand.
Carolyn was the daughter of Frank and Marie (Webb) Schue. She was born and raised in Rock Falls. She attended the Rock Falls School. Carolyn married Clarence Schneider June 2, 1953 at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Rock Falls. After marriage they lived in Rock Falls. They later moved to Eau Claire where they owned and operated the Chicken Hut Restaurants for 50 years. The restaurants are still run by family members. In 1985, Carolyn and Clarence retired and moved to Eau Galle where she remained the rest of her life.
Carolyn was privileged to have a grandson and great granddaughter born on her birthday.
She is survived by her husband Clarence, five children, Kathleen (Thomas) Bowman of River Falls; Richard (Dayna). Randy (Laura), Robert (Linda) all of Eau Claire; Ronald (Karen) of Rock Falls; 15 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and one granddaughter, Chantel Schneider.
