Eileen M Kaufman
Eileen M. Kaufman, age 84 of LaCrosse, died on June 14, 2010 surrounded by her family at the Luther Hospital in Eau Claire.
Eileen was born on October 23, 1925 in the Town of Eau Galle, Dunn County. She was the daughter of Frank and Mayme (Meixner) Kaufman. Eileen attended St. Henry’s Parochial School in Eau Galle and she graduated from Arkansaw High School. After high school, Eileen attended and graduated from the St. Paul School of Cosmetology. She then moved down to La Crosse where Eileen and her sister, Lynette owned and operated Lynn’s Beauty Shop together for all her working life.
Eileen is survived by one brother, Blaine Kaufman of Arkansaw, nieces, Linda (Bill) Brenner-Nelson, Mary (Tim) Ellifson, Kathy (Brian) Plank, Michelle Valk, and Judy (Tom) Afdahl, nephews, Chuck (Jeanette) Brenner, Terry (Cindy) Brenner, Ron (Ardi) Brenner, Reg (Cindy) Brenner, Bob (Jacki) Brenner, Mark (Annie) Brenner, Frank (Corrine) Brenner, Mike Kaufman, and Bradley Kaufman, 29 great nieces and nephews and 15 great great nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents, two sisters, Belva Brenner and Lynette Kaufman and two brothers, Vaynard and Doug Kaufman.
