Donald R.Shez
Donald R. Shez age 78 recently of Menomonie, died Sunday, July 18, 2010 at the Red Cedar Medical Center in Menomonie.
Don was born on October 15, 1931 in Milwaukee. He was the son of Frank Sr. and Sophie (Subchok) Szczesny. Don was a Veteran of the Army, serving during WWII. He worked mostly in sales and marketing for many years, traveling in the United States. Don most recently worked for RamPac International in Milwaukee.
Don’s interests included, golfing, fly fishing, boating, and photography. Most of all, he loved devoting time to his family.
Don is survived by one daughter, Laura (Milo) Berg of Spring Valley, one son, Zach Shez of Plymouth, IN, former spouses, Susie Shez of Plymouth, IN and Carol Shez of Faribault, MN, five grandchildren, Callie (James) Jacobs, Brandon Berg (Emily), Shaunna Berg, Jacqueline and Julie Shez, one brother, Ken (Ann) Shesne of Billings, MT. He is preceded in death by his parents, one son, William R. Shez and one brother, Frank Jr.
A time of gathering and sharing Don’s memories will be held from 4-6 PM Wednesday, July 21, 2010 at Wakanda Park Pavilion in Menomonie.
