Martha J. Lecheler age 89 of Menomonie,
Died: Sunday July 25, 2010 at Red Cedar Medical Center in Menomonie.
Martha was born July 3, 1921 in the Township of Weston, Dunn County. She was the daughter of Joseph H. and Minnie M. (Hendricks) Stoeklen. Martha attended St. Joseph’s Elementary School and Dunn County Aggie. She married George A. Lecheler September 24, 1940. Martha worked at the Memorial Hospital in Menomonie as a P.T.A and the American Lutheran Home as a P.T.A and a C.N.A. She then worked at the Dunn County Health Care Center as a C.N.A until retiring in 1986. She will be sadly missed by her family and many friends.
Martha is survived by two sons, Dean (Sue) of Menomonie; Richard (Jane) of Elmwood; a daughter Connie (Loren) Rogers of Menomonie; a daughter-in-law, Nancy Lecheler of Elmwood; three sisters-in-law, Frances Stoeklen of Menomonie; Leona Horn of Ellsworth; Oliva Pelzel of Elmwood; a brother-in-law, Albert (Joan) Lecheler of Elmwood and many nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
She is preceded in death by her parents; husband George in 1977; a son Roger in 2003, six brothers, Leo, Lloyd, Herbert, Delbert, Louie and Bob Stoeklen; four sisters, Thressie Hartfield, Mary Hammer, Eleanor Fedderly and Dorothy Werner.
