Carolyn A Hanson
Carolyn A. Hanson age 50 of Menomonie,
Died suddenly on Sunday August 1, 2010 at the Red Cedar Medical Center in Menomonie.
Carolyn was born December 22, 1959 in Chippewa Falls, but grew up in Lake Hallie. She was the daughter of William and Helen (Douglas) Hanson. As a child she moved with her family to Menomonie, where she graduated from Menomonie High School in 1979. Carolyn attended one year at Chippewa Valley Technical College and was a daycare teacher and the Y.M.C.A. in Chippewa Falls. She married Dean Husby in 1984 and together they had three children, and they later divorced. For the past 15 years, Carolyn has been working for Aurora Residential as a Personal Care Worker. During this time she also worked as a C.N.A. for various health care providers in this area.
Carolyn is survived by three children, Jared Husby (Fiancée Ashley Field), Jessica Husby (Fiancé, Pete Vanderhoff) Husby and Ryan Husby all of Menomonie; her father, William Hanson of Rice Lake; three brothers, Lonnie Hanson of Rice Lake; Lawrence Hanson of Minneapolis, MN; Lane Hanson of Menomonie; her twin sister, Cecelia Beals of Menomonie; three grandchildren, Joycelyn, Justice and Kaylee; special friend Terry Gums of Menomonie; many nieces, and nephews and special friends Jim & Renee and Heather Redner.
She is preceded in death by her mother, Helen; and a niece Chelsea Hanson.
