Madelyn D Goehirng
Madelyn D. Goehring, of Elmwood, formerly of Naperville, IL and Tarpon Springs, FL, died Sunday, January 27, 2008 at the Heritage of Elmwood Nursing Home in Elmwood.
Madelyn was born May 8, 1913 in Blue Earth, MN. She was the daughter of Charles and Adelia (Willmert) Quantz. Madelyn spent her early childhood in Blue Earth and later moved with her family to Naperville, IL. She married Clifford G. Goehring April 1, 1934. After retirement, they moved to Tarpon Springs, FL in 1978. Clifford died in 1998 and Madelyn later moved to Elmwood in 2001 to be closer to her daughter.
Madelyn is survived by six children, Gerald Goehring of San Jose, CA, Donald (Joan) Goehring of Surprise, AZ, Anne (Carl) Winne of Crossville, TN, Kathryn Johns of Elmwood, Philip (Debbie) Goehring of Aurora, IL and Steve Goehring of Newport Richey, FL, 13 grandchildren and several great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband Clifford in 1998, a son Keith in 1999, two brothers and one sister.
No local services being planned, interment will be a later date in the Naperville Cemetery in Naperville, IL. Memorials may be made to the Elmwood Public Library.
