Michael A Schneider
Michael A. Schneider, age 33, of Arkansaw, died Wednesday October 27, 2010, unexpectedly at home in the Town of Union, rural Plum City.
Michael was born on May 9, 1977 in Eau Claire. He was the son of Michael D. and Mary A. (Atkinson) Schneider. Michael grew up in the Durand area and graduated from Durand High School in 1995. After school, Michael worked various jobs in the area, mostly for The Tile Shop in Martell and Swiss Miss in Menomonie. Michael married Kimberly Griess on November 17, 2000 in Menomonie; they later separated but remained friends. Most recently, Michael was working at the Ellsworth Creamery in Ellsworth.
Michael enjoyed fishing, working, hanging out with friends and playing with his dog, Harley. Most of all, he loved to spend time with his family, especially his two children, Dylan and Jaden.
Michael is survived by his two children, Dylan and Jaden, ex wife, Kimberly Schneider, all of Menomonie, his parents Michael D. and Mary Schneider of Arkansaw, sisters and brothers, Richard (Peggy Johnson) Atkinson of New Auburn, Todd Nelson of Chippewa Falls, Tammy Nelson of DeForest, Renee (Dennis) Waller of Colfax, paternal grandmother, Margaret Schneider of Elk Mound, maternal grandfather, Donald F. Atkinson, friend, Andrea Bauer of Mondovi, aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He is preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Gloria Atkinson and a paternal grandfather, Richard Schneider, one aunt, Joyce Lees.
