Marie E Lind
Marie E. Lind, age 93 of Menomonie, died Friday, February 08, 2008 at the Dunn Count Health Care Center in Menomonie.
Marie was born and raised in rural Dunn County. She was the daughter of Herman and Gunda (Koolmo) Seifert. Marie’s mother died eight days after her birth and so she was raised by her aunt who lived close by. Marie married Donald K Lind. After marriage, they lived in Menomonie where they raised their three children. In April of 2007, Marie moved into the Dunn County Health Care Center where she remained the rest of her life.
Marie was a life long member of St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Menomonie. She was also very active in the church. She enjoyed spending her time with family and friends.
Marie is survived by two daughters, Ann Clark of Menomonie, Jeannine Lind of Seminole, FL, one daughter-in-law, Dorothy (Bob) Lind-Heagle of Mondovi, 13 grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren, 2 great great granddaughters, one niece, Diane (Richard) Willette of Rhinelander, other relatives and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband Donald in 1981, one son Gaylen in 1993.
