Loretta J. Brantner age 86 of Durand,
Died: Thursday February 3, 2011 at the Chippewa Valley Hospital in Durand.
Loretta was born in Durand on February 20, 1924. She was the daughter of Andrew and Adeline (Spindler) Brenner and grew up in Durand. Loretta graduated from Durand High School. She married James W. Brantner November 16, 1942 at St. Mary’s in Durand. They made their home in Durand until 1965 when they moved to Evansville Wisconsin where she worked at a hospital in Stoughton for several years. In 1972 they moved to West Bend where she continued her medical career at the West Bend hospital. In 1989 they returned to Durand where she has remained the rest of her life. Loretta and Jim enjoyed RVing, traveling, especially spending the winters in Florida. Most of all she loved spending time with family and friends.
Loretta is survived by her children, John “Butch” (Mary Jane) of Durand; Mary Jane (Wayne) Diller of Mondovi; Doug (Nancy) of Durand; Marsha (Ed) Brannen of Mondovi; 11 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; a brother Bernard (Lorraine) Brenner of Durand; one sister Blanche (Lyle) Sinz of Eau Galle and several nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
She is preceded in death by her parents, husband Jim, a granddaughter Calico Ann Diller; a sister, Charlotte Moody Tibbetts
