William H "Bill" Ableidinger
William H. “Bill” Ableidinger, age 87 of Nelson, died Sunday February 13, 2011 at Dove Health Care Center in Eau Claire.
Bill was born May 3, 1923 in the Town of Canton, rural Buffalo County. He was the son of Joseph and Rosa (Berger) Ableidinger. He grew up on the family farm and attended Tiffany Country School and Lima School. Bill remained on the family farm his entire working career. He retired and sold the farm in 1996 and then worked a seasonal job for Huntzinger Farms of Eau Claire for several years.
Bill loved to hunt, fish, cut wood and play bingo. He loved his church, Holy Rosary Catholic Church at Lima, where he was a lifetime member. Most of all, Bill loved to spend time with family and friends.
Bill is survived by three sisters, Marie (Wayne) Harrigan of Eau Galle. Helen (Stephen) Steinmetz of Eau Claire and Frances (James) Otto of Janesville, one brother in law, Clem Falch, many nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents, one sister, Anne Falch.
