Louis C. “Bud” Rineck Jr. age 76 of Menomonie,

Died: Thursday March 24, 2011 at his home in the Township of Lucas, Dunn County, rural Menomonie.

Louis was born August 28, 1934 at home in Hatchville, rural Menomonie. He was the son of Louis C. and Esther (Wagner) Rineck Jr. As a young child he grew up in the Hatchville area and later moved with his family to the Chippewa Falls area and later to Hammond. He married Betty Ann Cotts July 23, 1955 at St. John’s Lutheran Church at Hatchville. After marriage they settled in the Hatchville area. Bud worked various jobs in the area before working at Connell’s Orchard where he worked for 32 years.

Bud loved fishing, camping, doing woodworking, and the annual family vacation traveling around the country. Most important to Bud was spending time with his family.

Bud is survived by his wife Betty; three daughters, Colleen (Lorn) Flanscha and Lacinda (LaMont) Steinmeyer both of Menomonie; Renee (Andy) DeLong of Elmwood; two special nieces/daughters; Debbie (Duane) Zielsdorf of Downing; Tammie (Rick) DeMotts of Green Bay; 12 grandchildren, Jennifer (Dennis)McSorley; Bonnie and Mirranda Sweeny; Jessie Hanson; Brandi Wagner; Rebecca (Andrew) Rassmussen; Justin (Stephanie) and Isaac Steinmeyer; Cassondra (David) Pink; Brandon DeMotts; Jayme and Nathan Zielsdorf; 13 great grandchildren; four sisters, Marcella Wagner of Durand; Vernetta Larson of Eau Claire; Deanna Franklin of Menomonie; Della Worrell of Centuria; three brothers, Arnold of Hammond; Roger of New Richmond; Larry of Boyceville; a brother-in-law, Russell (Betty) Cotts of Menomonie and many nieces and nephews and other relatives and friends.

He is preceded in death by his parents; two grandsons Lloyd Louis Sweeny and Ethen Zielsdorf; a special nephew/son, Randy Rineck; two brothers, John and James; two brothers-in-law, Emil Wagner and Gaylord Worrell.
