Lorraine F. Ebensperger age 88 of Plum City,

Died: Monday February 11, 2008 at the Plum City Care Center in Plum City.

Lorraine was born November 2, 1919 in the Township of Union, Pierce County, rural Plum City. She was the daughter of William and Addie (Buck) Weldon, and grew up in the Town of Union. Lorraine graduated from Plum City High School in 1938. After high school she worked at the Plum City Hospital for a few years. Lorraine married Richard H. Ebensperger January 10, 1945 in Red Wing, MN. After marriage she was a homemaker and raised her family. Lorraine also helped with her husbands business, Dick’s Garage. Lorraine was an active member of the American Legion Auxiliary for 62 years. In early years, she was also active in the United Methodist Ladies and taught Sunday school. Lorraine and Dick enjoyed gardening and kept a large garden for many years. She also enjoyed sewing and baking for her family. Lorraine and Dick had a wonderful life together, celebrating 60 years of marriage.

Lorraine is survived by three children, Jon Ebensperger of Bay City; Wanda Ebensperger of Plum City; Marvin (Marnie) Ebensperger of Winsted, MN; four grandchildren, Bradley (Kisha), Rebecca, Jerry, Todd (Teana); four great grandchildren, Tyler, Kiley, Kayden and Marik.

She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Richard in 2005; a daughter-in-law, Sandra Ebensperger in 2007; two brothers, Robert and Carl Weldon; a sister, Ramona McMahon.
