Alvira A Schultz
Alvira H. Schultz age 94 of Menomonie, died Tuesday, April 12, 2011 at her home at Comforts of Home Assisted Living in Menomonie.
Alvira was born July 12, 1916 in the Township of Springbrook, Dunn County. She was the daughter of William and Nellie (Pechmiller) Grutt Jr. and grew up in Dunn County. Alvira graduated from Dunn County Aggie in 1934, Alvira then went onto get her beautician license.
Alvira married Wesley C. Schultz June 9, 1956 in Menomonie. They lived in Waterloo Iowa for approximately 26 years, where Alvira worked as a licensed beautician. After retirement they moved back to Menomonie in 1984. From 1982 to 1988 they spent their winters in Texas. Alvira was active in the Methodist ladies church circle and a square dancing club in Iowa.
Alvira is survived by her husband Wes, a sister, April (Dallas) Chryst of Menomonie; a brother, Merlin (Lorraine) Grutt of Menomonie; five nieces, Patricia Emerson, Poplarville, MS, Nancy (Tryn) Suckow of Menomonie, Marcia (Ron) Finder of Knapp, Barbara (David) Zirkelbach of Racine and Linda (Darrell) Strand of Fergus Falls, MN, other relatives and friends.
She is preceded in death by her parents and one nephew Michael Chryst.
