Mary F. Cramer age 80 of Menomonie,
Died: Wednesday April 27, 2011 at the Fall Creek Valley Care Center in Fall Creek.
Mary was born April 30, 1930 in Menomonie. She was the daughter of Lorn “Doc” and Velva “Babe” (Brown) Retzloff. Mary grew up in the Menomonie area, graduating from Dunn County Normal. Mary married Joseph A. Cramer November 3, 1948. After marriage they operated Fern Hill Guernsey Farm in the Township of Red Cedar, Dunn County until retiring in 1978. They also owned and operated Cramer’s Lawn Ornaments for several years. Mary was active in the Cedarlings 4H Club and was a Charter member. She also loved to sew, knit, crochet and baked and decorated many cakes for parties, anniversaries and weddings. Mary also raised and showed champion Chihuahua’s. Joe passed away in 1993 and for the past several years, Mary has been residing at the Comforts of Home Assisted Living in Menomonie.
Mary is survived by two sons, Daniel (Rochelle) of Eau Claire; Charlie (Pat) of Menomonie; a daughter Joan (Kevin) Nelson of Menomonie; 10 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren; a brother, Ronald Retzloff of Green Bay and a sister, Judy Lewis of Scottsdale, AZ.
She is preceded in death by her parents; husband Joe, and a brother Carl “Buck” Retzloff.
