David W Kingsbury
David W. Kingsbury age 38 of Menomonie, died Thursday, July 7, 2011 at his home in the Township of Menomonie, surrounded by his family after a courageous battle with cancer.
David was born on January 4, 1973 in Chicago, IL. He was the son of Clyde and Helenanne (Otte) Kingsbury Jr. He grew up in the Menomonie area, attended St. Joseph’s Elementary School and Menomonie High School. David married Cristal Odom on November 12, 1998 in Nashville, TN. He worked for Asplundh Tree Service from 1998 until 2010 when he became ill. David and Cristal lived in Plover for about three years before returning to Menomonie to build the house of his dreams on the family farm.
David was a family oriented man, he loved to take his sons hunting, snowmobile, boating and just spending time outdoors.
David is survived by his wife Cristal, four sons, Michael, Troy, Matthew & Tyler, all at home; his mother, Helenanne Kingsbury & Bill Treadway of Springville, TN; three sisters, Christina (Jason) Roethle of Bolingbrook, IL; Laura Kingsbury & husband Ron Marko of Channahon, IL; Kimberly (Marcio) Curvelo of Kalamazoo, MI; nieces & nephews, Katie and Elizabeth Roethle; Andrew and Alessandra Curvelo; several aunts, uncles and cousins.
He is preceded in death by his father, Clyde “Butch” Kingsbury Jr., a brother Josh Kingsbury and grandparents, Clyde Sr. and Audrey Kingsbury and Benjamin and Rita Hamling.
