Arlene M. Kozenka age 55 of Wheeler, died Thursday, July 13, 2011 at her home in the Town of Hay River with her family by her side.

Arlene was born July 14, 1955 in Stanley. She was the daughter of Willard and Agnes (Fitzpatrick) Wildenberg. She grew up in Stanley and graduated from Stanley High School in 1973. Arlene married Gary Kozenka on October 19, 1974 in Stanley. Arlene worked at the Stanley Hospital in Stanley as a CNA for several years while attending UW Eau Claire. Arlene and Gary moved to Oklahoma where Arlene did day care in her home. They moved back to Menomonie in 1987 and Arlene worked as PTA at the Dunn County Health Care Center for several years. Arlene began working for the Menomonie School District as a Sign Language Interpreter until June of 2010 when she became ill.

Arlene enjoyed antiquing and collecting Boyd Bears. She also enjoyed collecting rocks from all the states and displaying them throughout her yard and home. Most of all, Arlene loved spending time with family and friends.

Arlene is survived by her husband, Gary, two children, Nick (Jamie) of Oshkosh and Ashley Kozenka of FT. Bragg, NC, four sisters, Delores Hahn of Clinton, Jeanette Smith of Kansas City, KS, Carol Wildenberg of Elk Mound and Mary (Gene) Riedeske of South Beloit, two brothers, Earl (Sue) Wildenberg of Menomonie and Ron (Kay) Wildenberg Shopiere, several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents and one sister, Cynthia Winchell.
