H Marie Waller
H. Marie Waller age 88 of Knapp,
Died: Thursday July 28, 2011 at Mayo Clinic Health System-Eau Claire.
Marie was born September 27, 1922 in Menomonie. She was the daughter of La Verne and Susan (Cramer) Govin and grew up in Menomonie. Marie graduated from Menomonie High School in 1940. During WW II, Marie worked at Boeing Aircraft in Seattle, WA. After the service she returned to Menomonie where she worked in the office for Richartz Implement for several years. Marie married Eugene T. Waller on August 6, 1949 in Pipestone, MN. After marriage they made their home in Knapp where she helped with her husband’s business doing secretarial and bookkeeping. Eugene died in 1996 and Marie has remained in Knapp the rest of her life.
Marie is survived by her brother, Steve (Grace) Govin of Eau Claire; several nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
She is preceded in death by her parents, husband Eugene, a sister, Jeanette Scott; three brothers, James, John and Neil Govin.
