Stanley O Staupe
Stanley O. Staupe age 77 of Menomonie, formerly of Faribault, MN died Tuesday Sept. 6, 2011 at Mayo Clinic Health System-Menomonie.
Stanley was born September 22, 1933 in Spring Grove Minnesota. He was the son of Neuman and Irene (Boreson) Staupe and grew up in the Minneapolis area where he graduated from high school. He married Frances Joan Henry June 6, 1952 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Faribault, MN. Stanley enlisted in the U. S. Navy and served for 21 years. During Stanley and his family’s time in the military service they traveled the world and had many terrific experiences. After the military service he worked for the Federal Aviation Administration (F.A.A) in Farmington, MN for over 20 years. After retirement they lived in Faribault Minnesota. Frances died in 1988, and in 1999 Stanley moved to Menomonie where he met Grace S. Mertes and became close friends and companions
