Howard “Pete” Buros

Howard Buros a longtime resident of Durand passed away April 12, 2012 in Mesa, Arizona. He is survived by his wife, Bonnie, of 64 years; three children Michael of Scottsdale, AZ, Thomas of Eau Claire and Barbara (Joseph) Gilles of Hillsboro, OR; six grandchildren; Scott (Jennifer), Samuel, Jason, Amanda (Jerrod), Hannah and Ryan and two great grandchildren; Charlotte and Grace.
Howard worked for Tri-State Breeders for 41 years. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, golfing and hiking. Howard and each of his six siblings reached their 60th wedding anniversary, quite an accomplishment.
Services will be held Friday, April 27th at 11:00am at Faith Lutheran Church in Durand. Rev. John Hosmann will officiate. Lunch will follow immediately after the services. Burial will be in the Forest Hill Cemetery, Durand. Friends may call one hour prior to services at the church on Friday.
