Ruby M Weber
Ruby M. Weber, age 98 of Menomonie, died Tuesday, May 1, 2012 at the Dunn County Health Care Center in Menomonie.
Ruby was born on April 7, 1914 in at home in the Town of Weston, rural Dunn County. She was the daughter of Thomas and Anna (Neubauer) Denning. Ruby grew up in the Town of Weston and graduated from Menomonie High School. After high school, Ruby worked at her father’s insurance office as a secretary. Ruby married Clarence Weber on October 24, 1939 in Eau Galle. After marriage they farmed in the Town of Weston for many years until they sold the farm and moved to Menomonie. Ruby worked at a local bakery and at the Bolo Inn for several years. For the last several years, Ruby has been a resident of the Dunn County Health Care Center.
Ruby loved tending to her flower gardens and sewing. Most of all she enjoyed spending time with family and friends.
Ruby is survived by her children; Neil (Sandra) Weber of Menomonie, Virginia (Andrew) Muenich of Eau Claire and Mary Ann (Wayne) Drake of Georgetown, TX, eight grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband; Clarence, three brothers; Robert, Clarence and Alfred Denning, five sisters; Beulah North, Elsie Andersen, Florence Olson, Jennie McClellan and Vada Lierman.
