Eugene E Enerson
Eugene E. Enerson, age 75, passed away on Sunday, May 6, 2012 in his Meridean home surrounded by his loving and caring family after a long battle with cancer.
Eugene was born at the family homestead, in Meridean on May 25, 1936 to Melvin and Olga (Nielsen) Enerson, the second of four children. “Gene,” as he was known to friends and family, is a Korean War Veteran, and shortly after his tour in Korea he met and married, Shirley A. LaBarge, on March 25, 1961 in Waukesha. Shirley and Gene happily celebrated their 51st Wedding Anniversary this year. Gene was preceded in death by his parents and a granddaughter, and will be remembered as a wonderful, caring and loving man, who cherished his wife, family and friends.
Gene is survived by his wife; Shirley, children; Eugene “Lenny” Enerson, Jody (Craig) Berger, Sharon (Mark) Mehling, Ronda Snow, Rick (Rosanne) Snow and Phillip Snow. 14 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, two brothers; Bob (Candy) and Don (Linda) Enerson, and one sister; Shirley Olson.
