Faith E. Breitzman, age 93 of Menomonie, died Tuesday, March 04, 2008 at the Dunn County Health Care Center in Menomonie.

Faith was born on December 8, 1914 in the Town of Red Cedar to William and Elizabeth (Schmidt) Schleusner and grew up in the area. She graduated from Menomonie High School. Faith married John “Jack” Breitzman October 19, 1934 in Eau Claire. After marriage, they made their home in the Town of Red Cedar, where Jack owned and operated a Black Smith Shop. Faith was a homemaker and raised their children. Faith was proud of the fact she started Cedarling 4-H Club and served as its leader for 20 years. Faith also volunteered for the American Red Cross for 50 years, she was a member of the Homemaker Club for 50 years. She was an active member of St. Paul’s Evangelical Lutheran Church and has served as an officer for each of these organizations. In 1997 they moved into the city of Menomonie and Jack died in 1998.

Faith is survived by three children, John “Jack” (Joan) Breitzman of Lonsdale, MN, Audrey (Vern) Smith of Owatonna, MN, Dennis (Connie) Breitzman of Bismarck, ND, nine grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren, three great great grandchildren, five step-grandchildren, 12 step-great grandchildren, two step-great great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews, including two very special nieces, Sandra Weber and Shelia Kuhman, other family and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband Jack in 1998, two grandsons, Tim Smith and John Breitzman, one great grandson, Luke Smith, five brothers and two sisters.
