If you had the opportunity to meet Roy you felt his firm handshake; in his hands he showed strength, gave guidance, applauded – “that a boy/girl,” nurtured, greeted - the one finger hello :), encouraged us to be life long learners, held a pliers, squeezed a trigger, made the perfect Dilly swirl :), tipped a straw hat, wore overalls, held a walking stick and crossed many paths. He also palmed a basketball, taught us how to sneak, cookie dough, held a pencil to push numbers, always had an “idea,” packed a toothpick, dealt cards, clapped to his favorite two step, took us on long Sunday drives, shared humor “just gotta kid you a little,” the master of finding the 4 leaf clover, Faith, Hope, Love and Luck! God Bless the Legacy of Roy Howard Wayne
