Theresa M Lane
Theresa M. Lane, age 47 of Durand, passed away peacefully after a courageous four year battle with brain cancer on Tuesday, October 16, 2012 at the Oakview Care Center in Durand, with her family by her side.
Theresa was born on April 2, 1965 in Goldsboro, NC. She was the daughter of Ron and Marlene (Carothers) Kralewski. Theresa grew up in the Misha Mokwa area of rural Nelson and graduated from Alma High School in 1983. After high school, Theresa worked various jobs at Security Financial Bank, United Health Care and at her own day care, Sunshine Lane Daycare. Theresa married Michael Smith, together they had Theresa's daughter Brittany. They later divorced. Later Theresa married Ron Lane on March 30, 2001 at their home in Durand and her family grew with 2 more daughters, Kira and Sidney. In September of 2008, Theresa started her battle with brain cancer and has been a resident of the Oakview Care Center since April of 2012.
Theresa always enjoyed time with her family and friends. She also liked her flower garden, and being outdoors, especially at the family lake house in Bloomer and sharing stories at deer camp.
Theresa is survived and missed by her husband; Ron, three daughters; Brittany, Kira and Sidney, all at home in Durand, parents; Ron and Marlene Kralewski of Durand, two brothers; Mike (Lea) Kralewski and Jeff (Jannine) Kralewski, both of Durand, paternal grandmother; Arcella Kralewski of Durand, aunts, uncles, other relatives and friends. She is preceded in death by her paternal grandfather; Wilfred Kralewski and maternal grandparents; Walter and Wanda Carothers.
