Susan K Caturia
Susan K. Caturia, age 58 of Elk Mound, died Monday, November 5, 2012 at the Comforts of Home in Menomonie.
Susan was born on June 17, 1954 in Eau Claire. She was the daughter of Harold and Eleanor (Ottinger) Ottum. Susan grew up in Eau Claire and attended North High School. After high school, Susan married Allan A. Caturia on February 23, 1974 in Eau Claire. After marriage, they moved to Elk Mound where she raised her family and worked at Phillips Plastics in Eau Claire for 19 years. For the last five years, Susan has been battling Early Onset Dementia.
Susan loved to watch the Packers and the Badgers. She also enjoyed reading, cooking, camping and fishing. Most of all she enjoyed spending time with family and friends, especially her grandchildren.
Susan is survived by her children; Jeremy and Lisa (friend, Wes Eaton), both of Elk Mound, three grandchildren; Dylan, Alaina and Jaycie, all at home, five brothers; Marshall Ottum, Mike Ottum of Chippewa Falls, Lester Ottum, David Ottum, both of Eau Claire and Ronnie (Diane) Ottum of Spring Valley, one sister; Paulette (Al) Goettle of Clearwater, FL, nieces, nephews other relatives and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband; Allan A., one son; Allan D. Caturia, one daughter-in-law; Nikki Caturia, one brother; Jerome Ottinger and one sister; Sandy Polus.
