Beverly Jane Link age 62 of Menomonie was born to eternal life on Saturday December 29, 2012 at her home, after a courageous five year battle with cancer.

Beverly was born October 9, 1950 to Ralph and Gertrude (Witkowski) Beirne in Milwaukee, WI the greatest city in the world according to Bev. She attended St. Joan Antida High School and graduated from UW-Stout with a degree in Dietetics in 1973. Bev married Gerald Link, the love of her life on May 14, 1977. Together they were blessed with two of the greatest daughters, Brandi (Norm) and Brooke (Ryan). Bev was the proud and devoted grandma of Monica, Logan Ava and Vinny. Honored to be the Godmother of Joy Kessler, Laura Debee and Paul Link. Beloved sister of Patricia Beirne of Milwaukee. She is further survived by sisters-in-law, Sharon (Steve) Lehmann and Debra Link; brothers-in-law, Darrell (Donna) Link, Samuel (Vicki) Link; best friends, Cooky Schlueter, Linda Johnson and Carrie McKnight, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and many wonderful friends. She is preceded in death by her parents.

One of the greatest pleasures of Bev’s life was her 38 years of service to the patients and staff of the Dunn County Health Care Center, retiring as Dietary Supervisor in 2010. Bev and her family would like to express their sincere thanks to Fr. Tom Krieg, Mary Allison and Pat Bilse of St. Joseph Parish for their caring and compassionate presence. Bev was proud to serve as a Eucharistic Minister; to serve at Tuesday’s Table and many other volunteer activities at St. Joseph’s. Special thanks go out to Dr. Basu and the staff of Mayo Health System Oncology Center and Home Hospice. These sentiments and thoughts were in Beverly’s own words.
