Catherine "Bernadine Bauer
Catherine "Bernadine" Bauer, age 85 of Chippewa Falls, formerly of Eau Claire, died Thursday, January 31, 2013 at the Wissota Health and Regional Vent Center in Chippewa Falls with family by her side.
Bernadine was born on June 13, 1927 in the Durand area. She was the daughter of Clinton and Elizabeth (Fleming) Coburn. She grew up in Arkansaw and attended Arkansaw High School. Bernadine was a beautician for all of her working career. She married Glenn L. Bauer and they had four children together.
Bernadine loved music, dancing, smiling, gardening, cooking and her doll collection. She also liked to upholster furniture and had a flare for fashion. Most of all, she enjoyed to spending time with family and friends.
Bernadine is survived by her children; Elizabeth "Betsy" of Oakdale, MN and Bernadette "Becky" (Mike Nielsen) Bauer of Stillwater, MN, three grandchildren; Jeremy (Shelley) Johnson, Tammy (Victor) Santillo Giles and Jeffrey Giles, three great grandchildren; Liliahna, Lyle and Marcos, two sisters; Arcella Bauer of Marine on St. Croix, MN and Patricia Jordan of Minneapolis, MN, nieces, nephews other relatives and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents, two sons; Jeffrey and Glenn G. Bauer, three brothers; Kenneth, Clinton Jr., Patrick Coburn and one sister; Bonita Zittel.
