Donald S. Peabody age 73 of Boyceville,

Died suddenly on Monday April 7, 2008 in Portland, Ohio while on a fishing trip to Lake Erie.

Donald was born September 25, 1934 in Roberts, WI. He was the son of Laurence and Audrey (Mentor) Peabody. As a young child he moved with his family to the Menomonie area where he grew up. As a young adult Donald moved to Michigan where he worked in a foundry for a few years. He returned to Menomonie where he entered the U. S. Air Force and served for almost six years. After the service he returned to Menomonie and began construction work in the area. Donald married Veloris Terrell in 1964 and they later divorced. Don made his home in Boyceville where he continued to do construction work in the area and the Twin Cities until he retired. After retirement Donald worked part time at Kadinger’s Auto Salvage in Downing.

Donald loved the outdoors. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and snowmobiling and he was a big NASCAR fan.

Donald is survived by his son, Dennis of Boyceville; three brothers, Edwin (Sharon) of Eau Claire; Frederick (Helen) of Menomonie; James of Roberts; a sister, Katherine (Lee) Kurschner of Moundsview, MN; 11 nieces and nephews and many many friends.

He is preceded in death by his parents and several aunts and uncles.
