Terry Joe Markus
Terry Joe Markus, 56 of Taipei, Taiwan, passed away unexpectedly Tuesday January 1, 2013. Terry was born to Freida Markus Larson in Black River Falls, on April 20, 1956, and raised in Downsville. Terry attended school in Downsville and Menomonie growing up. His secondary education included classes and degrees at several universities both in the USA and abroad. Terry has spent the past 20 years living in Southeast Asia between China, Thailand and Taiwan.
Terry is survived by two sisters, Kelley (John) Stiles of Joliet, IL; Linda Stensgaard Bailey of Woodbury, MN; two aunts, Ruby Swisher and Beverly Seiler both of Menomonie; cousins, Sharlen Marquardt of Wausau; Nancy (Allen) Smith of Boyceville; Mary Marti of Friendship and Kellee Pederson (Bill Geimer) of Rialto, CA; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
He is preceded in death by his parents, grandparents, one uncle, three aunts and one cousin.
