Connie M Schuh
Connie Mae Schuh, age 47 of Durand, died Wednesday, May 29, 2013 at the Sacred Heart Hospital in Eau Claire with her family by her side.
Connie was born on January 29, 1966 in Durand. She was the daughter of Jonathan "Bill" and Aileen (Bauer) Wayne. Connie grew up on the family farm in the Town of Durand and attended Durand High School, graduating in 1984. She served as a princess on the Fun Fest Court in the summer of 1984. Connie married David Schuh on November 9, 1985 at Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Lima. After marriage, Connie worked on the farm while also raising her family. In 1997, Connie started working at the Chippewa Valley Hospital in Durand where she worked for 15 glorious years.
Connie enjoyed gardening, scrapbooking and renovating the house. She was an active member of Holy Rosary Catholic Church, singing in the church choir and the PCCW. Connie enjoyed sewing for school plays, the Durand Royalty Court, Halloween costumes for the kids and she also made her own wedding dress. Most of all, Connie loved to spend time with family and friends.
Connie is survived by her husband; David, three children; Tambre Schuh, Abriel Schuh and Makenze Schuh, all of Durand, her parents; Bill and Aileen Wayne of Durand, six brothers; Patrick (Nancy), Richard (Sandy), John (Patty), Paul (Lisa) Thomas (Vicky) and Michael (Carmen), all of Durand, four sisters; Sharon (Randy) Bauer of Durand, Peggy (Loren) Bauer of Ellsworth, Kathy Gilles and Sheila (David Peterson) Wayne, both of Hastings, MN, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
