Norma A Smeltzer
Norma A. Smeltzer age 92 of Menomonie, died Saturday, June 1, 2013 at the Dunn County Health Care Center in Menomonie.
Norma was born on December 25, 1920 in Rock Falls. She was the daughter of John and Anna (Brumberg) Torgerson. Norma grew up in the Rock Falls area and graduated from the Durand High School. She married Russell Smeltzer and together they farmed and raised their family in the Menomonie area.
Norma is survived by her children; Joan (Paul) Sachs of Neenah, Sharyl (Terry) Wolf of Sioux Falls, SD, Barbara (Courtney) Sand of Waukesha, Rod (Trudy) Smeltzer of Menomonie, Diane (Steve) Josephson of LaCrosse, 13 grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren, two sisters; Francis (George) Frank of Eau Claire and Gladys Hayden of Mondovi, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband; Russell, one son; Richard, one granddaughter; Traci Smeltzer, four brothers and four sisters.
