Dorothy E Clark
Dorothy E. Clark age 99 of Menomonie, died Saturday January 25, 2014 at Care Partners in Menomonie.
Dorothy was born September 6, 1914 in Menomonie; she was the daughter of Fred and Anna (Anderson) Clark. Dorothy grew up in the Menomonie area. She was a caregiver most of her life. Dorothy helped take care of her siblings and later was the care giver for her parents. For the past 40 years, Dorothy had resided at the Hosford-Rich Apartments in Menomonie. While living at Hosford-Rich, Dorothy was active in the activities and also volunteered, helping out wherever she was needed. She enjoyed Sunday dinners with her brother, Dan; spending Sunday’s listening to music at Jake’s Supper Club; playing “500” cards at various places around Dunn County. Dorothy spent many hours researching her family’s ancestry. She was able to trace the family back to the 1600’s. If anyone in the family had questions about relatives, Dorothy was the one everyone went to for answers.
Dorothy is survived by her brother, Leonard (Bobbie Jacobson) Clark of Rice Lake; and many nieces and nephews and other relatives and friends.
She is preceded in death by her parents, three brothers, Milfred, Delbert and Daniel Clark and a sister, Mildred Mense.
Graveside services will be held in the spring at Falls City Cemetery, township of Spring Brook, Dunn County.
