Joanne A Prissel
Joanne A. Prissel, 67, of rural Durand, passed away on Saturday, June 28, 2008, at Sacred Heart Hospital in Eau Claire, WI, after a courageous battle with pancreatic cancer.
She was born on March 13, 1941, to Lorraine (Lars) and Louise Larson in Eau Claire, WI. She married Francis J. Prissel in August, 1964. They had two sons, Darin and Aaron, and lived on the family farm for 44 years. She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Mondovi, WI. She was a kind person and will be truly missed by those who knew and loved her.
Joanne is survived by her beloved husband, Francis; her sons, Darin (Cathy Walker) of Durand, and Aaron , Eau Claire; brother, David Larson of Eau Claire; sister, Janet Johnson of Eau Claire.
She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Richard Larson; and sister Kathlleen Knuth.
A private family service will be held. Family and friends are invited to an Open House-Celebration of Joanne’s life at the family farm on Thursday, July 3rd, from 1-9 PM at N5662 Cty. Rd. BB, Durand WI.
